The International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property, (Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle) – Geneva based organisation which promotes international intellectual property protection. It is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation and should not be confused with WIPO which is an intergovernmental organisation.
