A key measure of whether employees are still “drinking the Kool-Aid®, i.e., whether they still believe in management or in the business plan, or their future employment prospects in the company, is the number or proportion of employees who can be observed to be working on their curriculum vitae (résumé) and the relative brazenness of this activity (i.e., do they bother to switch screens when more senior employees pass by). Also known as RWA, i.e., “résumé writing activity.”
